Meta App Review Test Instructions

This page gives Meta reviewers a direct path to verify each requested permission in the Hermes Meta MCP integration.

Before review

• Add this site domain in Meta App Domains.
• Add the OAuth callback URL: /auth/callback.
• Add the Privacy Policy URL: /privacy.
• Add the Data Deletion URL: /data-deletion or callback /api/data-deletion.

Threads review flow

1. Open the console home page.
2. Click Connect Threads.
3. Approve the requested Threads permissions.
4. Confirm the app opens the Social Command Dashboard.
5. Confirm the dashboard displays Threads ID and username.
6. Use Threads Public Search to search public posts by keyword or topic tag.
7. Submit a text-only reviewer test post using Test publish.

Threads public search flow

1. Connect Threads with the requested threads_keyword_search permission.
2. Enter a keyword, topic tag, or optional author username in Threads Public Search.
3. Confirm the dashboard displays public Threads post results.
4. Click Use as reference to add a public post into the Hermes brief for similar content.

Instagram review flow

1. Click Connect Instagram.
2. Approve the requested permissions through Meta login.
3. Confirm the app opens the Social Command Dashboard.
4. Confirm the dashboard displays linked Instagram Business or Creator account IDs.
